Nové Mitrovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Mítov is known for a preserved mill with its original interior fittings and for folk architecture. The Mítov water mill has a log structure dating from the late 18th century, as well as furnishings from the 19th century. Since September 22, 1995, Mítov has been protected as a village heritage zone.

Hradiště Kokšín in Mítov is a significant archaeological site in the territory of the municipalities of Nové Mitrovice and Spálené Poříčí. The site includes a stone rampart. The best-preserved southern section is approximately 80 meters long, while the fortification perimeter measures more than 400 meters.

Josef Linda, known as a writer, dramatist, and journalist, is associated with Nové Mitrovice. Another Baroque work is the statue Panna Maria Svatohorská, a Baroque sculpture dated 1760 that was restored in 1921.

The wider regional surroundings of Nové Mitrovice include Zřícenina Valdek, a ruin; Svatý Martin, a church; and Plzen Barholomaeus Cathedral, also a church.

Approximately 200-year-old beech trees stand in the Kokšín Nature Reserve. Nad Moráskem, a mountain, is located in the immediate vicinity of Nové Mitrovice; Korálka [Nové Mitrovice-Mítov], a hill, is also nearby. Štěrbina and Praha, both mountains, are also located in the surroundings of Nové Mitrovice.
