Oplot: Hotels and Accommodation

The Chapel of Our Lady in Oplot is registered as an immovable cultural monument under number 32622 / 4-260. The rectangular building from the second half of the 19th century has a polygonally closed presbytery, a Neo-Romanesque triangular gable, and a small turret. The chapel was renovated inside in 2008; the altar was repaired and the pews were cleaned. In front of the chapel there is also a memorial cross from the late 19th century.

A niche chapel with a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from the second half of the 19th century stands in the village square. Above the building of the former school there is a small niche chapel with a moulded cornice and an under-life-size wooden statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from the 19th century. There is also a column-shaped wayside shrine with a stepped shaft on a road in Oplot.

The landscape in the Oplot area is predominantly flat to gently hilly. Extensive fields account for a large proportion of the area, while forests make up only a small share at the southern edge of the cadastral area.

Regional cycling route No. 2185 passes through Oplot. It runs via Přeštice, Oplot, Soběkury, Otěšice, Ptenín, and Křenice.

A Mass is held during the annual pilgrimage in Oplot’s local chapel.
