The Church of St. Lawrence was built in the mid-14th century. It preserves original Gothic portals and ribbed vaults with profiled ribs and has a richly carved main altar from the 17th century.

The stříbrsko-sulislavský národnostní ostrůvek preserved Czech customs, traditional costumes, and the Czech language in Sulislav and the surrounding villages until the beginning of the 20th century.

The Sulislavský masopust is regularly accompanied by Lidová muzika z Chrástu as well as by musicians from Sytno and the surrounding area. The Sulislavské slavnosti vína offers wine, music, and refreshments. The Sulislavské gulášobraní is a family-oriented event featuring food tasting.

Sulislavská Korida is a cycling race financially supported by the municipality. In addition, the Municipality of Sulislav organizes or supports the „Vavřinecká pouť“ pilgrimage annually.

The “Naučná stezka Sulislav” educational trail was completed in 2020 in the cadastral area of the Municipality of Sulislav. The “Naučná stezka Sulislav” educational trail has eleven information panels.
