Částkov: Hotels and Accommodation

The Částkov Fortress was built and inhabited from around the 14th century onward.

Culture and History

The Částkov Fortress was established on the eastern edge of the village above a shallow, marshy valley. Artificial ponds and ditches formed its outer fortifications. The present-day Částkov Chateau acquired its form through a Renaissance extension adding three rooms and later Baroque alterations; the interiors have groin vaults.

In Částkov, the Church of St. Anne is protected as an immovable cultural monument under registration number ÚSKP ČR 44334/4-4736. In Maršovy Chody, the protected rural homestead No. 1 includes a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.

Pernolec is a settlement belonging to the municipality of Částkov. In 1902, the Church of St. Anne Samotřetí and its Stations of the Cross were built there. The church is not normally open to the public and can only be entered during certain events. The fortress in Pernolec has been restored; the estate includes a water-filled moat and a stone bridge, and it is permanently inhabited.

Nature

The western part of the Maršovy Chody cadastral area contains continuous forest within the Český les Nature Park. The landscape of the municipality of Částkov is crossed by watercourses and smaller bodies of water.

Transport

Cycle Route No. 36 runs through Částkov along the route Všeruby u Domažlic – Hošťka – Částkov – Tachov – Cheb – Skalná – Měděnec. The village also has a public bus stop.
