Únehle: Hotels and Accommodation

The first written mention of Únehle dates back to 1115. Road II/193 runs through the centre of the village, connecting Stříbro, Únehle, Kšice and Erpužice.

History

The history of Únehle is linked to several estates. In 1232, King Wenceslaus I transferred Únehle to Teplá Monastery. In the second half of the 14th century, the village belonged to the estate of the town of Stříbro, which remained the owner of Únehle until 1547.

More recent traces are also part of the village’s history: in 1875, Johann Wittich decided to build a mill on the outskirts of Únehle. The mill’s water system diverted the outflow into the Kšický potok. The road bridge in Únehle has been preserved in its original condition without disruptive modern alterations.

The history of the village and its surroundings also includes archaeological evidence. The Únehle burial site consists of approximately 45 burial mounds in a designated group. In addition to Bronze Age finds, a Hallstatt-period grave was also identified near Únehle.

Mount Viči hora is located in the area around Únehle. Nearby are the hill (Na Pasekách) [Únehle] and the hill (Slavický les) [Černošín-Víchov]. Mount Sténský vrch is located in the wider regional area.

Cycle Route No. 2222 also runs through Únehle.
