Cernosin: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture and History

St. George's Church in Černošín was first mentioned as early as 1374. The present Baroque St. George's Church in the center of Černošín was built between 1711 and 1736.

Volfštejn Castle was founded in the second half of the 13th century on a spur of Vlčí hora near Černošín. Its access path leads from Černošín along the eastern rampart, around the castle to the south, and onward to the former manor courtyard; from there, you can climb to the summit of Vlčí hora. The yellow hiking trail No. 6603 also passes Vlčí hora, the ruins of Volfštejn Castle, and Černošín.

Nature

The Kosí potok Nature Park partly extends across the municipal area of Černošín. In a gorge-like valley of the stream, it protects biological and landscape values. On the path from the football field in Černošín to Volfštejn Castle, you will also find Černošínský bor, a protected relict pine stand.

Hiking and Cycling

The Kosí potok educational trail is 8 km long and provides information about the nature and history of the Kosí potok valley. A memorial to the victims of the First World War is located about two kilometers from the town center and can be reached via an unpaved forest road.

A starting point for walking excursions to Vlčí hora has been opened on the existing cycling route No. 2212. This starting point was equipped with a rest area, benches, seating, trash bins, a bicycle stand, and information boards. Cycling route No. 2205 passes through Třebel.
