Culture

Maximilián Leopold von Castelma had Budíškovice Castle built in 1690 on Renaissance foundations. The castle is a four-winged Baroque building with arcades around the courtyard.

In front of Budíškovice Castle, the Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk makes a significant contribution to the character of the space. The statue was carved before the saint's canonization.

The Church of U Svaté Magdalena and the Church of U Svatého Křiže are located in the vicinity of Budíškovice. In the wider regional area, there are also Landštejn Castle and Roštejn Castle [Doupě].

Landscape

The mountains of Kleniční, Modrácký kopec, Špičák and Rudný are located in the vicinity of Budíškovice. The Budíškovice castle park has the character of a landscape park and contains two ponds and a garden pavilion.

The “Nejen na Bábu (666 m n. m.)” route includes a 6 km section between Hříšice and Budíškovice. From Bába, it follows a forest path in the direction of Budíškovice.

On this excursion, cycle route no. 5220 is used as far as the outskirts of Třebětice.
