Culture and History
In Omlenička stands the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows and Saint John of Nepomuk, which was built in 1722. It is a single-nave Baroque building with a two-story Baroque tower; its furnishings date from the first half of the 18th century.
The château in Omlenička was built in 1727 on the site of an earlier Gothic-Renaissance fortress or château, at the same time as the church was constructed.
Marked Trails
Red- and blue-marked hiking trails lead north from Omlenička to Poluška. The marked “Cesta odboje” route passes through a landscape containing the former villages of Velký and Malý Chuchelec and the hamlet of Lannovy domky. It connects the memorials to the victims of the Second World War near Omlenice and Výheň.
