The Podolí Mill, also known as Kadeřávkův mlýn, with its sawmill, was located at Podolí No. 8 below the Podolský pond. The mill and sawmill were powered by three overshot water wheels. After the war, the mill resumed operation on June 1, 1947; due to the miller's illness, it ceased operations on February 1, 1951.
History
Podolí was formerly an independent estate and is considered the cradle of the Čáslav family from Podolí.
In 1526, King Ludvík Jagellonský granted the Měděnec brothers from Ratibořice and Podolí the right to mine, prospect for ore, and grant mining leases within a radius of half a mile around Ratibořice.
