Slapy: Hotels and Accommodation
The local folk custom “Slapský Bahňák” is preserved in Slapy. In the middle of the village square stands a chapel built in 1911. Slapy’s cultural monuments also include a South Bohemian farmhouse from the 18th century.

There is a pond on the Slapský Brook; vegetation and trees grow along its right bank. There are four permanent bodies of water in the cadastral area of Slapy, ranging in size from 0.15 to 0.9 hectares. One of them is located within the settlement of Slapy and also serves as a fire-water reservoir.

The “From Tábor with Jan Žižka” cycling route through Hussite Country leads from Tábor via Klokoty, Větrov, Slapy and Dražičky to Příběnice Castle.
The 23rd edition of the hiking event “From Tábor All the Way to Us” is scheduled for Saturday, 3 October 2026, and ends in Slapy. The recommended route is from the Tábor bus station via Pintovka, Hnojná Lhotka and the quarry near Dražičky to Slapy.
