The synagogue in Břeclav was built in 1868 and renovated in 1888 by the Viennese architect Max Fleischer in the Neo-Romanesque style; Moorish elements were used in the interior. Following extensive reconstruction from 1997 to 1999, it is currently used for cultural and social purposes.
