History and Church
Křepice was first mentioned in written records in 1349 under the name Crepicz. The Church of St. Bartholomew is a cultural monument and was completed in the Renaissance style in 1791. It has three altars; behind the main altar is a depiction of Calvary.
Pilgrimage and Folklore
The pilgrimage site of U Svaté includes a spring called Svaté and a Way of the Cross. Pilgrimages dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius are held there regularly every year on a Sunday in July near their feast day.
Křepice hosts the annual costumed Bartolomějské hody festival. The Křepická chasa actively promotes the development of folklore and folk traditions in Křepice. It performs at local events, including Dětské hody and Hodové posezení na Hájence, and also leads a children's folklore group.
Views and Remembrance
The educational trail dedicated to the Bratislava–Brno Operation, with viewpoints along the way, provides information about the occupation period and the liberation of Křepice. The Novosady lookout tower stands on Čertoraj Hill above Křepice. The lookout tower on the hill, also known as Novosady, has been constructed since 1984 as part of the memorial to the Bratislava–Brno Operation of spring 1945.
Trails and Wine
The blue-marked hiking trail passes through the center of Křepice and then heads east into the cadastral area of Nikolčice. The Velké Pavlovice Wine Trail leads to Křepice, where it divides into two circular routes. Near Křepice, the Velké Pavlovice Wine Trail splits; the southern branch is intended for people seeking wine experiences.
