Blučina: Hotels and Accommodations

The natural area includes the Nové hory Nature Monument near Blučina. It protects remnants of broad-leaved dry grasslands with orchids occurring in places, as well as numerous other specially protected and rare plant and animal species.

The steep slopes of Výhon are characterized by a mosaic landscape of vineyards, intensively and extensively cultivated orchards, fields and gardens, grass-covered strips along the paths, and steppe grasslands. Since 2009, the summit of Výhon has been home to the nearly 18-meter-high wooden Akátová věž lookout tower.

Blučiňák Pond includes a natural swimming area as well as wetland and littoral zones. It is best reached via the cycle path from the indoor swimming pool in Blučina.

The Brno–Vienna cycle path is more than 130 kilometers long.

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a protected cultural monument. The three-nave building has a five-sided chancel closure.

The village also features a Baroque Marian column. It bears statues of Saint Barbara, Saint Florian, and Saint John of Nepomuk and was erected around 1720.

Boží muka is a three-sided wayside shrine in the Baroque style from the first half of the 18th century.

The local culture also includes the BLUČIŇÁCI brass band, founded in 1920 by brothers Rudolf and František Kratochvíl. The Blučinské hody festival continues to be celebrated in the municipality in its original form.
