Culture and history

The Church of St. Peter and Paul in Deštná was built in 1781–1782. It has been protected as a cultural monument since 2000.

The Rumberk Castle complex is situated on a spur above the eastern edge of the Rumberk settlement. Archaeological investigations at Rumberk Castle uncovered a residential tower that had previously been suspected to exist.
