Dobré Pole: Hotels and accommodations
Dobré Pole is traditionally a municipality shaped by agriculture and viticulture. The townscape and surrounding area combine protected natural areas, ecclesiastical architectural history, viticulture, and a range of sites with different classifications.
Nature
Slanisko Dobré Pole is a protected natural monument. It protects inland salt meadows with sea aster (Tripolium pannonicum), slender hare’s-ear (Bupleurum tenuissimum), sea milkwort (Glaux maritima), Bessarabian dandelion (Taraxacum bessarabicum), the dung beetle Aphodius plagiatus, the slender meadow grasshopper Aiolopus thalassinus, the wolf spider Pardosa maisa, and other significant and rare plant and animal species, including specially protected species. The salt plant sea milkwort also grows in the protected area of Slanisko Dobré Pole.
In the northeast of the municipality of Dobré Pole, the hilly landscape extends into the area of the national natural monument Dunajovické kopce, which protects many rare organisms. The national natural monument offers a special view of Pálava, as well as vistas in all directions from the ridge. Liščí kopec is a hill in the vicinity of Dobré Pole.
Culture
The single-nave early Baroque Church of St Cecilia in Dobré Pole was created by enlarging a chapel originally built in 1653. In front of the entrance façade stands a stone late Neoclassical cross with a relief of Our Lady of Sorrows from 1835. Dobré Pole’s sights also include a niche chapel in the fields.
Viticulture and connections
The wine cellars of Dobré Pole are located mainly behind the railway station and in the area known as “Za Vedrovým”. Dobré Pole has bus and rail connections.

The surroundings of Dobré Pole include Fünfkirchen Castle, a castle, Dívčí Hrady, a ruin site, and Falkenstein Castle Ruins, also a ruin site. Pálava and Obora are mountains in the vicinity of Dobré Pole. Südmährerkreuz is a shrine there, while Mikulov Castle Park is a park.
