Dolní Loučky: Hotels and Accommodation
A prominent spur above the southern edge of Dolní Loučky is home to the ruins of Loučky Castle, also known as Střemchov. The site is considered an important archaeological location. Dolní Loučky railway station lies on line 250 between Havlíčkův Brod, Tišnov and Brno; access to the station building and the passenger shelter is barrier-free.

Culture
The Gothic Loučky Castle, also known as Střemchov, was founded in the mid-13th century and fell into decline during the 15th century. The core of the Church of St Martin in Dolní Loučky dates from the mid-13th century. The church acquired its present appearance through alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries. Another prominent structure is the Dolní Loučky railway viaduct: its main arch is the largest railway reinforced-concrete arch in the Czech Republic.
Things to Do
The red-marked hiking trail to Hradisko leads to the remains of the Gothic Lúčka Castle and continues as a forest walk to Předklášteří. The Dolní Loučky–Předklášteří cycle route also runs along the Loučka and was built on a former footpath.
Nature
At 543 metres, Pasník is the highest hill rising above Dolní Loučky and is covered with mixed forest. The hills of Víckov, Sýkoř, Paní hora and Střela are located in the surroundings of Dolní Loučky.
The wider regional area around Dolní Loučky includes Brno Zoo, Lužánky Park, Sady Osvobození as a park, and Kaple sv. Petra a Pavla, a church.
