Střelice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity is the oldest building in Střelice. Its five-sided chancel forms an original Gothic chapel. The medieval origin of the church is also evidenced by two bricked-up Gothic vaults in its southern wall. The west tower has a rectangular entrance portal with a profiled stone frame.

Inside there is a Baroque altar from the second half of the 18th century; the altarpiece was painted by Josef Stern. The collections of the Střelické muzeum consist mainly of donations from residents of Střelice. They include clothing, tools, equipment, crockery, and toys. The museum displays objects and artefacts from everyday life in the former village environment and documents the history of Střelice's architectural development.

Traditional events in Střelice include Mladé hody and Staré hody. The Zvonička commemorates the killing of residents of Střelice during the Thirty Years' War.

Střelická bažinka is a nature monument covering approximately four hectares, designated in 1980. It is a peat bog in the floodplain of the Bobrava stream.

The area comprises wetland communities with reed beds and an adjacent beech stand. The crested newt (Triturus cristatus) and the fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina) occur there. The smooth newt and the critically endangered crested newt regularly reproduce in Střelická bažinka. In spring, numerous frogs can be observed returning to its banks to breed.

Střelický les is a protected natural area designated in 1980 and is one of the richest sites for the protected white dittany (Dictamnus albus L.).

The POD LESEM pump track is a dirt course for bicycles with dirt jumps as well as wooden and movable obstacles. The artificially constructed circuit is ridden without pedalling and consists of rollers and bermed turns. It is used to practise bicycle control and balance.

Střelice railway station is integrated into the public transport system and is located on railway lines 240 and 244. All platforms are accessible without barriers.
