Hluboké Dvory: Hotels and Accommodation

On the left bank of the Lubě, Krkatá bába forms a rock group approximately 500 metres long, with rock towers and blocks up to 15 metres high. The best-known rock tower resembles a head on a long neck.

Krkatá bába is protected as a natural monument. The protected features include significant rock formations with natural dwarf oak–pine communities. The rock group lies partly within the cadastral area of Hluboké Dvory and can be reached via a walkable tourist trail.

Cycle Route 5268 runs through Hluboké Dvory on the Žernovník – Lubě – Trmačov – Skalička route.

From Hluboké Dvory, a blue-marked trail leads south for just under one kilometre to the ruins of Trmačov. The blue-marked hiking trail from Trmačov also leads to a large partisan monument dating from 1946.

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary dates from 1838 and contains statues of the Virgin Mary and Saint John of Nepomuk. Next to the chapel stands a marble cross on a sandstone pedestal dating from 1906.

The Trmačov fortress was built less than one kilometre south of present-day Hluboké Dvory. It is expressly documented for the years 1350 to 1418 and was already mentioned as abandoned in 1466. The ruins of Trmačov are a state-protected cultural monument.

The partisan monument commemorates the resistance activities of General Luža’s 3rd Assault Company in the Tišnov region in the years 1944 to 1945.
