Javorník: Hotels and Accommodation

Javorník combines historic architecture with the meadows and steppe areas of the White Carpathians. Several circular trails, as well as a hiking trail and a cycling path, are among the routes described in the town and its surroundings.

The Protestant Toleration Church in Javorník dates from 1783. It has largely retained its original appearance to this day and is a protected monument. The Protestant cemetery is also located in Javorník; with its bell tower dating from 1733, it is a cultural monument.

Kopánky is a village heritage conservation zone with a valuable ensemble of folk architecture. Its original layout has been preserved and documents the building culture of small farmers in the White Carpathians. Groups of wooden hay sheds are also located on the eastern edge of Javorník; they are considered historically valuable structures and cultural monuments.

In the wider region around Javorník are Branč Castle [Podbranč], Kaštieľ Sobotište Castle, Čachtice Castle ruins, and Dobrá Voda Castle.

Nature

Trails

The Javořinská educational trail comprises three circular routes of varying lengths and 14 stations. At the Javorník station, the short option follows a circular hiking trail along the western slope of Hradisko to the Petruchovy mlýny mills. The educational trail passes through Javorník, including along the “javornické seníky” section.
