Nature
Ponds created along the Mnišího potok stream serve mainly as breeding grounds for amphibians. In Jinačovice, the “Senářov-Koryta” educational trail points to the wetlands of the Mnišího potok. A junction of marked hiking trails offers hiking opportunities to Kuřim, Česká, and Řečkovice.
A 15-kilometre hike from Jinačovice to Tři kříže passes through a large game reserve and along the Brno Reservoir; along the way, it offers views of Veveří Castle.
The Kaskáda Golf Resort, with a 27-hole championship course, is located in the vicinity of Jinačovice, in the valley between Kuřim and Jinačovice.
Culture and History
The village square is home to a chapel dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene, built in 1854. The masonry building has a bell tower and an image of the saint.
A stone cross was erected by local resident Josefa Pláteníková on the “Na Skalkách” field path, where it still stands today. The Jinačovice war memorial was extensively renovated in 2025 and completely dismantled in the process.
The Mladé hody are among Jinačovice’s stable, successful, and popular event traditions.
Transport
Jinačovice is integrated into the Integrated Transport System of the South Moravian Region and has direct bus connections to Brno and Kuřim.
