Louka: Hotels and Accommodation

The Návesní zvonice probably dates back to the early 18th century; the basis for this dating is a bell from 1715. The niche chapel attached to the Návesní zvonice is decorated with a typical blue floral folk ornament from Louka. The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Louka was built in 1999. The tradition of raising the maypole is also maintained in Louka.

Between Louka and the neighbouring village of Lipov, a 20-metre-high and 209-metre-long railway viaduct was built in 1926 on the Veselí nad Moravou–Myjava railway line.

Several castles are located in the wider region around Louka: Branč [Podbranč], Kaštieľ Sobotište, Holíčsky zámok and Hrad Buchlov.

Háj u Louky was designated a nature reserve on 1 August 1992. The area protects one of the most valuable deciduous woodland stands with a predominance of hornbeam in the White Carpathians. The Háj u Louky area can be reached from the road via a walkable hiking trail; the site is more than 250 metres from the road.

The mountains of Kobylí Hlava, Kobyla, Hradisko and Strana are located in the surroundings of Louka.

At the Lúcký košt trnek, visitors can taste various spirits and plum-based foods, including plum butter, cakes and sweets.
