At Moravské Bránice 348, Vinařství Jan Plaček operates a vaulted tasting cellar that can only be used by prior reservation. Public, professionally guided wine tastings with wine samples, cheese and bread are offered in the cellar of Vinařství Jan Plaček. In its cellar, Vinařství Plaček also offers public, professionally guided wine tastings with catering for groups of 15–40 people.

Trails

A red-marked circular hiking route connects Ivančice, Moravské Bránice, Nové Bránice and Dolní Kounice. The “Brněnská” route of the Moravian Wine Trails runs from Silůvky via Moravské Bránice towards Dolní Kounice. Moravské Bránice railway station provides train connections to Brno and Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. A documented circular hike via Dolní Kounice, Moravské Bránice, Železňák and Nové Bránice is 11 km long and takes approximately 3 hours.

Culture

The wooden belfry in Moravské Bránice dates from the 18th century. Moravské Bránice is home to the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, with an altar dedicated to Saint Anne. The traditional Rozmarýnové hody festival takes place in Moravské Bránice in September. Tourist destinations and attractions in Moravské Bránice include the “kanál” on the Bukovina stream.

A railway viaduct in the valley above the Jihlava River near Moravské Bránice is designated as a cultural monument. The preserved fragment of this railway viaduct consists of a single outer bridge span with a pier and support and is a cultural monument. The Moravské Bránice station building was constructed in 1868–1869 according to a standardized design for StEG station buildings. On the side of the station building facing the railway tracks, there is a freely accessible memorial plaque commemorating fallen railway workers.
