Nebovidy: Hotels and accommodations

The first written mention of Nebovidy and the name form Nebowidi are found in a well-known forgery of a deed of donation to the Třebíč Monastery in Cosmas’s Chronicle, dated 1104. Nebovidy is also a typical example of a linear roadside village.

The Church of the Holy Cross in Nebovidy was mentioned in 1329; at that time, it was elevated to a parish church. In 1996, it was designated a cultural monument of the Brno-venkov District.

For the Nebovidské hody 2026, a festive procession through the village was announced for Saturday, August 22, at 1:30 p.m. Also announced were an afternoon event at 4:00 p.m. and an evening event at 8:00 p.m. featuring music by the Sobuláci group for listening and dancing.

The predominantly forested Nebovid Hill, at 370 meters above sea level, is the highest of the three significant landscape features of Nebovidy. These landscape features also include the deeply incised, forested valleys of the Bobrava River.

Numerous green lizards can still be found in the Bobrava valley today.

Nebovidy has two bus stops in the village: Nebovidy, u kostela, and Nebovidy, dolní konec. The Chapel of St. Peregrine stands on a hill between Ořechov, Nebovidy and Želešice.
