Rosice U Brna: Hotels and Accommodation
At the heart of Rosice stands Rosice Castle. It is located on a hill above the confluence of the Bobrava and Říčanský potok rivers and was created around the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries by rebuilding a Gothic castle.

Culture and History
The visitor route at Rosice Castle includes 21 rooms with richly decorated stucco ceilings, decorative wall paintings, Renaissance ceiling decoration, period furnishings, paintings, hunting trophies, tableware and other historical everyday objects. The castle is listed as a cultural monument and possesses a rare ensemble of Renaissance and Baroque stucco ceilings. The visitor attractions also include an atomic shelter built in 1965.
The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is a Baroque chapel with a triangular floor plan and a crypt, as well as a historic, symbolic landmark of Rosice. A lime-tree avenue leads to it, with trees between 80 and 190 years old; alongside it runs a Stations of the Cross trail dating from 1773, with 12 stone wayside shrines. The Church of St Martin has a barrel-vaulted nave with lunettes. The Kamenný most bridge crosses the Bobrava River; it is cut into the rocky bank and is considered a notable engineering feature in the Czech Republic.
The Beekeeping Museum has a permanent exhibition and a library of the Czech Beekeepers' Association. It also includes a 19,000 m² open-air museum with modern and historic apiaries. The museum is currently being renovated.
Nature and Trails
The Mizející krajina? educational trail connects Rosice with Ostrovačice and follows an approximately 3.5-kilometre route through fields along a green-marked hiking trail. It features a lookout platform over a former pond, a gate at the cadastral boundary and a rest area by the stream next to a covered bridge.
The Rosickou historií educational trail offers two circular walks with 12 information boards about Rosice's historical sights, architecture, notable figures and local traditions. In the Rosická obora, remnants of Rosice's historic water supply have survived to this day, including several air shafts and a Haltýř, where water was collected.
