Culture
The Church of Saint Wenceslas in Přísnotice was built in 1873 on the site of a chapel dating from 1861 and extended with two side aisles in 1905. It is a valuable example of rural ecclesiastical architecture of late Historicism and is used for religious services.
The Reconciliation Cross in Přísnotice is considered the oldest surviving monument in the municipality. A monument to the victims of both world wars stands in the park on the village square. There is also a monument to Kryštof Krause at the “prostředních pásech” near Přísnotice.
Nature and Landscape
The European-significant Přísnotický les locality lies in the central section of the Dyje–Svratka Valley Depression, 1 km northeast of the centre of Přísnotice on the right bank of the Šatava. Two small water bodies are located in the northern part of Přísnotice, while a small pond lies to the southwest. The extensive Nosislavský les stretches from the eastern edge of the village.
A vital population of fire-bellied toads (Bombina bombina) regularly breeds in the wetlands of Knížecí les. The great crested newt (Triturus cristatus) occurs in Přísnotický les.
Cycling Paths
The path to the Reconciliation Cross passes by the rest area at kilometre 24 of the Brno–Vienna cycle route. The long-distance Jantarová stezka cycle route, which runs from Poland through Moravia to Austria, passes through Přísnotice.
