Nelepeč-Žernůvka: Hotels and Accommodation

Extensive forests stretch around Nelepeč-Žernůvka. The landscape is also shaped by the Závistka stream and the ridges around Pasník.

The regular IDS JMK 312 bus service serves Nelepeč-Žernůvka hourly in both directions and offers connections in Tišnov to trains heading toward Brno.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows was consecrated on November 19, 1930. It is an elongated central structure on a polygonal ground plan, with a flat apse and a prismatic turret above the western entrance front. Statues of Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Elisabeth of Thuringia stand on the terrace in front of the chapel.

The chapel and Domov sv. Alžběty in Žernůvka were entrusted to the architect Jindřich Vágner and designed after the model of the Basilica of Saint Paul in Rome. Construction of what later became Domov sv. Alžběty began in March 1930; it was initially intended as a retreat home for Franciscan nuns. The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows is open to visitors.

The historicist stone cross in Nelepeč-Žernůvka dates from 1868 and is considered a valuable cultural and historical monument. Near the edge of Nelepeč-Žernůvka, there is also a wooden cross with a naïvely rendered silhouette of Christ painted on sheet metal, which is considered a notable monument of folk art.

The challenging Deblín–Úsuší–Nelepeč–Žernůvka mountain biking route passes through small villages and runs along the Loučka and the Závistka stream.

The Žernůvka–Úsuší route begins in Žernůvka and leads through Nelepeč. It is 8.4 kilometers long and suitable for hikers and cyclists. Around Pasník and Loučský vrch, it follows a green-marked hiking trail.
