Vranov: Hotels and Accommodation

The present-day Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is a Baroque church. Its construction began in the first half of the 17th century on the site of a church dating from 1240.

The church contains a family crypt of the Liechtenstein family, built in the first half of the 19th century. The pilgrimage church also included a monastery of the Order of Saint Francis of Paola and a large monastery garden.

The Sedmiradostná cesta pilgrimage trail leads from Lelekovice to Vranov.

The Pivní stezka Petra Bezruče cycle route passes through Vranov u Brna between Brno-Řečkovice and Černá Hora. It is approximately 28 kilometres long and runs mainly through the forests around Vranov and Černá Hora. The route follows paved and gravel paths and is largely away from road traffic.

Vranov u Brna lies within the Vranovské lesy forests. In this forested area, the Babí lom ridge is considered a major attraction. The Ponávka Valley is also considered a major attraction in the Vranovské lesy forests.

Duchovní centrum Vranov offers accommodation for individuals, families, pilgrims, and groups.

The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary can be reached by bus lines 41 and 57, getting off at the “Vranov, křižovatka” stop. There is a car park by the church.
