Pasohlávky: Hotels and accommodations

The Mušov Visitor Centre can be reached from Pasohlávky via the local road towards ATC Merkur Pasohlávky and Aqualand Moravia. Using multimedia presentations and traditional display cases containing archaeological finds, it presents the historical circumstances surrounding the construction of the Roman fortress at Hradisko near Mušov, as well as archaeological traces of the Roman presence in this area.

The Roman-barbarian festival Germania subacta, held annually on the first weekend in September, is part of the Mušov Visitor Centre’s year-round themed events programme. From there, you can also follow the “Mušov – Gateway to the Roman Empire” educational trail, which leads to the most important archaeological sites at Hradisko.

Aqualand Moravia in Pasohlávky fills most of its indoor and outdoor pools with natural water from a thermal borehole; this borehole has been recognised as a natural healing spring. The facilities include 20 water slides and a sauna world with treatments. The water in Aqualand Moravia’s outdoor Riviéra pool is over 30°C even in winter.

The Věstonická nádrž educational trail begins at the Pasohlávky–Mušov dam and runs along the middle Novomlýnská Reservoir, which is an important bird sanctuary.
