Slup: Hotels and accommodations
Slup combines milling history, fortification architecture, festivals, and regional routes; a hotel can be booked for your stay.
Culture and history
The Vodní mlýn ve Slupi is a national cultural monument. The Renaissance building is equipped with four different milling installations, which are demonstrated to visitors in operation. The mill also houses an exhibition on the development of milling from prehistoric times to the 20th century.
The Krhovicko-jaroslavický náhon, on which the Vodní mlýn ve Slupi is located, is a technical monument and more than 30 km long. Another historic building is the Panská rybárna: the Renaissance building was built on the site of a 16th-century fortress and served, among other things, to administer the surrounding ponds.
The Museum of Czechoslovak Fortifications from 1938 in Slup is located in a reconstructed light fortification structure of the vz. 37, A-160 type. Guided tours with an expert guide are organized there.
