Culture
The building is an architecturally valuable central octagonal structure, built between 1717 and 1725. It stands in the elevated southwestern part of the village square. A single-storey rectangular sacristy is attached to the chapel.
The chapel was restored from 2016 to 2020. The work included repairing the roof structure, creating a new structure for the spire, installing new roofing, improving structural stability, renewing the plaster and infill, and restoring the altar. The chapel has a sheet-metal-covered tent roof, topped by a four-sided bell tower with an onion dome, finial and double cross. The local monuments in Dolenice also include a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.
