Korolupy: Hotels and accommodations

On the village square by the church stands a monument to those who fell in the First World War, dating from 1929. Remains of a former quarry for dark gabbro are also visible on the village square. The parish Church of Saint Lawrence is a late Baroque church from the second half of the 18th century and has been a protected cultural monument since 1958. Services are regularly held there.

One of the distinctive buildings is the Altán Korolupy, a brick park pavilion in a landscaped park northeast of Uherčice Chateau. The late Baroque, central, tower-like building with a basement dates from the late 18th century and occupies a dominant position in the landscape at the intersection of long paths lined with avenues of trees. The Altán originally served hunting purposes and was later used for meditation.

Further small religious buildings complement the townscape: the Kaple P.Marie Bolestné is a small chapel in the late Empire style on the road to Vysočany. The Kaplička on the road toward Uherčice is a late Neoclassical building from the second half of the 19th century. A niche chapel stands at the edge of the forest. West of Korolupy is the preserved Korolupský mlýn mill in an isolated location.

Korolupy lies on the right bank of the Blatnice River. The village pond is used for swimming. There are also opportunities for mushroom picking in the forests around Korolupy.

The Vranovsko cycling route is signposted in both directions with yellow metal signs bearing a black-and-white castle-and-sword logo. It runs almost exclusively along lightly trafficked paved roads; only at two points does it switch to field paths.
