Nature
The Rokytná Nature Park encompasses the cadastral area of Dobronice. It serves to protect the landscape character of an area with pronounced aesthetic and natural values. The Rokytná flows through the northern part of Dobronice's cadastral area; this stretch of the river is part of the Natura 2000 network. The Dobronický stream also flows through Dobronice.
The surroundings of Dobronice outside the built-up area are predominantly agricultural. The Rokytná valley features numerous deeply incised meanders. Meadows alternate there with more deeply incised sections and often rocky banks.
Culture and history
The documented fortress of Dobronice stood on the left bank of the stream in the grounds of a farmstead. Dobronice is first mentioned in writing in 1283.
The Chapel of Blessed Jan Sarkander stands in the western part of Dobronice, in a park on the village green. The chapel, with its statue of Blessed Jan Sarkander, is registered as a cultural monument under registration number 19097/7-6247.
