Dům přírody Bílých Karpat is a modern visitor center for the Bílé Karpaty Protected Landscape Area in Veselí nad Moravou. It offers excursions focused on natural history in the White Carpathians and the Pomoraví region.

Culture and History

Hvězdárna Veselí offers evening programs to the public, focusing primarily on observing the night sky. As a specialized cultural institution, it is dedicated to communicating and popularizing astronomy and related natural and technical sciences; it also offers expert lectures and night-sky observations.

Městské muzeum Veselí nad Moravou presents archaeological, historical, and ethnographic collections from the area around Veselí nad Moravou and from Horňácko.

Park u zámku is a landscaped park and part of the chateau grounds in Veselí nad Moravou. The part of the park on the other side of the Morava River can be reached via a cast-iron pedestrian bridge dating from 1911, which was once part of a narrow-gauge railway. The park also includes a restored music pavilion from the second quarter of the 19th century, known as Orchestra.

The Church of the Holy Guardian Angels and the Servite Monastery are an important Baroque architectural monument in Veselí nad Moravou. The Church of the Holy Guardian Angels is open to visitors from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; guided tours are offered there from June to September.

Cycling

The cycle path along the Baťův kanál runs mostly on paved routes; the ports along the Baťův kanál offer services for cyclists. Panský dvůr houses the Veselsko Tourist Information Center, the Baťův kanál Gallery, the Town Gallery, an exhibition of historic bicycles, cycling tourism facilities, and a Family Point.
