Dambořice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of Saint Martin of Tours is a state-protected cultural monument. Another state-protected cultural monument is the Jewish cemetery in Dambořice. It lies behind the Catholic cemetery, was probably established around the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, and contains approximately 300 to 400 surviving gravestones.

The Dambořice Municipal Museum is located in the municipal office building and hosts occasional exhibitions. The new village square features landscaping, pavilions, a fountain and a memorial to the former synagogue of the Jewish community.

Dambořice is a winegrowing municipality with dozens of wine cellars and belongs to the Kyjov wine-growing region. Fragments of so-called Habán wine cellars from the 16th century have been preserved in Dambořice; the surviving Habán wine cellars are privately owned.

Martinské hody is an annual three-day tradition. It is always celebrated on the first Sunday after the feast of the patron saint of the parish, Saint Martin of Tours, on 11 November. Four Stárci and four Stárky in Dambořice traditional costumes, along with a cellar master, take part.

Cycle route No. 5095 passes through Dambořice, Uhřice, Silničná and Zdravá Voda, where it reconnects with route No. 473. The Kyjov Wine Trail also passes through Dambořice. The village lies on Class II state road No. 381.
