Hříškov: Hotels and accommodations

Hříškov is situated on the ridge of the Džbán Plateau. The terrain slopes down toward Louny, offering panoramic views of the České středohoří, the Mostecká Basin, and the distant Krušné hory massif.

Nature and landscape

The southern part of the Hříškov municipal area belongs to the Džbán Nature Park. The Pochvalovská stráň supraregional biocenter also extends across 77.5 ha in the administrative area of Hříškov, in the Hvížďalka district.

A trip through Hříškov and the surrounding forests can be combined with a walk along a lime-tree avenue with two menhirs.

Culture and rural heritage

The Chapel of the Holy Trinity was built from donations by the inhabitants of Hříškov and consecrated on May 3, 1841. Of the original 14 Stations of the Cross images in the chapel, 13 have survived to this day.

The stone Jewish synagogue in Hříškov was built in 1806 and demolished shortly after the Second World War.

Rural homestead No. 54 is one of Hříškov's immovable cultural monuments and monument areas. It is an architecturally significant rural building complex; its defining features include its scale, the height of the roof ridge, the arrangement of the building volumes, and the materials used.

Routes and transport

A 57 km cycling route connects Louny, Slaný, and Kralupy nad Vltavou. Hříškov, at 403 m above sea level, is the highest point on this route.
