Horní Řepčice: Hotels and Accommodation

Horní Řepčice lies at the foot of the České středohoří landscape area. Part of the area extends into the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area.

Landscape

The Hořidla and Sedlo mountains are located in the immediate surroundings of Horní Řepčice. The Lada and Hradiště u Hlinné mountains are also located in the surrounding area. The current lookout tower on Hořidla dates from 2008 and can be reached from Horní Řepčice via meadow paths.

Paths and Transport

The area around Horní Řepčice is suitable for cycling tourism, particularly in combination with hiking tours on Class III roads as well as local and designated roads with low motor-vehicle traffic.

Public passenger transport in the Horní Řepčice area is provided by bus and rail services. Access to the Horní Řepčice railway station or stop, including the passenger shelter, is barrier-free.

Culture and History

No regular church services are held in the chapel of Horní Řepčice. The historical site “Theresienstadt concentration camp and ghetto” is located in the surrounding area.

Horní Řepčice has a surviving local chronicle kept since 1945 and is already mentioned in the founding charter of the Litoměřice chapter from 1057.

The Hrad Střekov castle and the Hazmburk and Starý Berštejn ruins are located in the wider regional surroundings.
