Trmice: Hotels and Accommodation

Trmice combines distinctive religious buildings, Trmice Chateau with its park, and a model railway museum with a walk through the Bílina Valley.

Culture and Architecture

The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is one of the most significant religious monuments in Trmice. It acquired its present appearance through renovations carried out in 1898 and 1899. The grounds also include statues of Saint John of Nepomuk and Saint Joseph.

Trmice Chateau is a one- to two-storey building with a crenellated tower, a balcony, and a staircase in front. It is set in an extensive English landscape park and serves as a publicly accessible representative cultural centre.

Another distinctive feature of the townscape is the Evangelical Church of the Lord Jesus in Trmice. The two-storey, rendered masonry building has an octagonal roof turret.

Model Railway Museum

Trmice Chateau houses a model railway museum with a permanent exhibition on the history and present of model railways. It includes functioning model railway layouts in N, TT, and H0 gauges.

Walk through the Bílina Valley

The Přemyslovské Stadice walking excursion follows a red-marked hiking trail through the Bílina Valley via Koštov to Stadice. Its starting point is in Trmice at Václavské náměstí, by the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.

The starting point at Václavské náměstí in Trmice can be reached by MHD trolleybus 73 from the Divadlo stop.

Event

The Trmická desítka is a running competition; the 13th edition will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
