Culture

The Velké Březno Fortification Museum displays a light fortification structure of Type 37, the so-called Řopík, built in 1938 for the defence of Czechoslovakia before the Second World War. The museum offers guided tours with a guide in a historical uniform and is located directly on the cycle path from Ústí nad Labem to Děčín.

History

Generations of brewers have been brewing beer at the Velké Březno Brewery since 1753 and continue to do so today. The historical figure depicted on the labels of Březňák beer is Viktor Cibich, a stationmaster from Velké Březno. For technical reasons, the Velké Březno Brewery has temporarily suspended visitor tours since 30 April 2026.
