Lhotka: Hotels and Accommodation
Approximately 1.5 km southeast of Lhotka lies the Díly u Lhotky natural monument, with peat meadows and endangered plant and animal species. It was first designated as a natural monument on 25 July 1985. The protected area preserves significant meadow communities and meandering waterways with protected plant and animal species.
Geographical Location
Lhotka is located in the Žďárské vrchy landscape. The main European watershed runs approximately 1 km northeast of the village.
History and Culture
Lhotka was founded in 1407 through the colonization efforts of the Žďár Cistercian monastery. Historically, the village was an important economic center and had a widely renowned mill.
In the past, Lhotka's inhabitants worked as charcoal burners and produced charcoal in charcoal kilns.
Routes and Activities
The “Žďárské vrchy – 49 km” mountain bike route runs through the forest to Lhotka, where it connects to the EuroVelo EV4 route. The Cyril and Methodius Trail climbs through Lhotka to Harusův kopec.
The Radňovický Circuit is connected to routes toward Lhotka and to the cross-country ski trails around Žďár nad Sázavou. The sports field in Lhotka can be used by visitors from outside the village for a fee for tennis, nohejbal, football, and volleyball.
