Petráveč: Hotels and Accommodation

The chapel in Petráveč is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was built in 1914 in place of a bell tower.

An example of local events was the farmers’ market at the Petráveč oil mill: on 15 August 2026, it hosted a market from the “Poznej svého farmáře” event series that was open to the general public.

The starting point for the Nesměř Valley Circuit is located at the turn-off from the road between Velké Meziříčí and Petráveč, by the bridge over the Oslava near the wastewater treatment plant. Parking spaces for passenger cars are available there. The circuit runs mostly along paved paths. The section between Petráveč and Velké Meziříčí is the exception; it can be bypassed via an asphalt road.

Access to the Nesměř Valley children’s educational trail is located at the turn-off from the road between Velké Meziříčí and Petráveč, behind the former distillery, now POEX. Most of the children’s educational trail runs along paved paths, so visitors can bring a stroller. The trail consists of seven interactive stations in total.

Mount Ambrožný is located in the immediate surroundings of Petráveč. The mountains Koní hora, Horka, and Duforty are also located near the village.

The wider regional surroundings of Petráveč include the Rabštejn ruins, the Myslibořice château park, and the Church of Svatý Marek.
