Culture
The complex dates back to the 13th century. In 1544, the castle was abandoned when its then resident permanently moved to a fortress in Dolní Krupá.

The Ronovecký les forest is located in the cadastral area of the municipality of Kojetín. Plot No. 687/1 in the cadastral area of Kojetín u Havlíčkova Brodu is designated as part of the regional biocenter RBC 724 “Ronovecký les.”
The natural Prdlavka spring is located in the municipality of Kojetín. In 2007, it was voted the Spring of the Year in the region.
Activities
A marked hiking trail runs through the Ronovecký les forest, connecting Havlíčkův Brod with Chotěboř. Ronovecký les is also a popular place for walks and outings.
The Prdlavka spring is located along a yellow tourist trail marking, a few hundred meters from the Ve Žlabě signpost, on the way to Ronovec Castle. It can be reached via a footpath.
The surroundings of Kojetín are suitable for cycling and mushroom picking.
