Cerekvička: Hotels and Accommodation

In Cerekvička, waterways, small cultural monuments, and a regional route project come together. The Jihlávka runs along the western boundary of the Cerekvička cadastral area, while the Rosický potok flows through Cerekvička and joins the Jihlávka from the right in the northern part of the cadastral area.

Nature

In the northern part of the Cerekvička cadastral area, the Jihlávka Valley lies at an elevation of 532 m above sea level. Podvesní Pond is located near Cerekvička.

Culture

The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Cerekvička-Rosice is a small brick chapel with vernacular Classicist features dating from 1840, and it forms a distinctive focal point of the village square. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Rosice dates from the 19th century; its lintel bears the year 1840.

About 200 metres northwest of the village in Rosice, a wayside shrine from the 18th century stands along the road to Čížov. Along the road from Cerekvička to Vílanec, a fragment of a wayside shrine bears the carved year 1789.

A former mill on the Jihlávka in Cerekvička is now known as Motorest Mlýn.

Routes

Cerekvička-Rosice participated in the “Stříbrné pomezí” project, a tourist information system designed to promote tourism and improve tourist information services. Along the project routes, information boards with overview maps, local information, and details of local sights were installed in the participating municipalities.

As part of the project, 270 km of hiking and cycling routes were marked; approximately 12 km of them ran in the area around Jihlava.
