Jezdovice: Hotels and Accommodation

In Jezdovice, the Špičák Nature Trail ends after a 10-kilometre route with 10 information stations. The trail is suitable for pedestrians and mountain bikers.

Nature

The Jezdovice peat bog is a 2.7067-hectare natural monument, first designated on 3 May 1984. It includes a fragment of an extensive meadow peat bog, as well as habitats of transitional bogs, lime-free moss bogs and submontane mat-grass meadows. The area protects rare and endangered plant and animal populations, including Triglochin palustris, Moneses uniflora and Carex pulicaris.

The one-sided oak avenue to the water tower runs along a field path and forms part of an educational trail.

Trails and Knowledge

The information panels along the Špičák Nature Trail cover biology, geology, geomorphology and history. On the longest route option, it is possible to take a train or bus for the return journey from Jezdovice to Třešť.

Culture and History

The stone bridge in Jezdovice is 14 metres long and 5 metres wide, has three arches and exposed masonry. It is considered one of the oldest bridges in Moravia and is documented in historical maps dating from between 1770 and 1780.

At the dam of a pond in Jezdovice stands a four-metre-high wooden statue of a miner, commemorating the history of silver mining.
