The official Okolo vodnÃch mlýnů cycling route passes through Dubovice. Above PelhÅ™imov, it runs through a picturesque landscape.
Nature and Trails
The PelhÅ™imov Ring II is a 47.5 km circular route around PelhÅ™imov. On the ring, there is a valley at an elevation of almost 600 m before Dubovice. Before Dubovice, the route offers views across the landscape from the Hajlovka Valley to the peaks of StražiÅ¡tÄ› (744 m above sea level) and SvidnÃk (740 m above sea level).
The approach to Dubovice on the Pelhřimov Ring II includes a 5 km section on an unpaved road before the route reaches a paved road. In the Pelhřimov Horská Kvilda area, people cycle in summer and go cross-country skiing in winter.
The simple Neo-Baroque Chapel of St. Nicholas in Dubovice was built in 1850. The chapel can be seen from a hill along the Pelhřimov Ring II. It was presumably commissioned by followers of Mikuláš z Vlásenice.
Dubovice is also home to the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity. A monument in Dubovice commemorates the incorporation of Dubovice into Pelhřimov.
