Libkova Voda: Hotels and Accommodation
Libkova Voda Chateau is a single-storey, modern-era neoclassical building erected on the site of a former fortress. The single-storey chateau building offers accommodation in apartments to four-star standards and features a picturesque courtyard, a granary building, and an extensive garden. In front of the chateau stands a small-leaved lime tree considered to be a 300- to 400-year-old commemorative tree.
Architecture and History
The church in Libkova Voda, dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul, was founded between 1340 and 1350 under Arnošt of Pardubice. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style between 1686 and 1691; its present tower was built in 1873.
A prominent early Baroque stone wayside shrine from 1692 stands at the entrance to the village. It has a rectangular shaft with a slightly widened base, a widening upper section, and a chapel pierced by niches.
Nature and Trails
The 47.5-kilometre Pelhřimovský prstýnek II circular trail passes through Libkova Voda. A hiking signpost points to the yellow-marked trail in the direction of Čelistná. The hill by the cemetery outside Libkova Voda is suitable as a rest area with a view.
Club Life
SK DONUT is an active table tennis club in Libkova Voda and regularly organizes table tennis training sessions and tournaments for its members.
