Rynárec: Hotels and accommodation

The Church of Saint Lawrence in Rynárec is a state-protected immovable cultural monument dating from 1203. The parish house No. 24 is also protected by the state as an immovable cultural monument.

Culture

Next to the church in Rynárec stands a war memorial to those who fell in the First World War, supplemented by a list of those who fell in the Second World War. There is also a preserved timber-framed part of the older house No. 34, with walls made of unhewn beams.

In the wider regional surroundings of Rynárec are Janštejn as a ruin, Želivský Kláštor as a monastery, and Roštejn [Doupě] as a castle. The Church of Svatá Anna is also located in the vicinity of Rynárec.

Landscape

The Bělá watercourse flows through the middle of Rynárec from south to north. Most of the area consists of agricultural land with flat to moderately sloping areas and plateaus.

Getting around

Rynárec is connected to Pelhřimov by Road II/112 and a railway line. The 34.5-kilometre “Okolo lomu k evropskému rozvodí” cycle route also passes through the village. It is considered easy and is suitable for mountain bikes along its route.

The JK Cavalier Rynárec riding club is a sports and leisure riding stable where privately owned and rented horses are housed.
