History and culture
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Kojatín dates from 1879.
Kojatín is first mentioned in the founding charter of Třebíč Monastery from around 1104. After more than 200 years without settlement, Kojatín was rebuilt in 1712.
Stone was quarried in the flooded Kojatín quarry during the construction of the Studenec–Velké Meziříčí railway line.
