Sedlec: Hotels and Accommodation

In the last quarter of the 14th century, Sedlecký hrad served to guard the borders of Třebíč Monastery. The three crosses currently standing at Sedlecký hrad date from 2003. The ruins of Sedlecký hrad are freely accessible.

The Údolí Oslavy a Chvojnice Site of Community Importance includes the cadastral area of Sedlec u Náměště nad Oslavou. The Údolí Oslavy a Chvojnice Nature Reserve is a deep valley of the meandering Oslava, bordered by steep slopes and rocks and characterized by oak and pine forests as well as remnants of floodplain meadows.

The path to Sedlecký hrad runs along a steep slope that descends into the romantic valley of the Divoká Oslava. It is suitable for pedestrians and for very fit cyclists who are not deterred by steep slopes.

The Gloriet u Náměště nad Oslavou is a hunting pavilion built in 1830 and a cultural monument. A hike near Gloriet u Sedlece is approximately seven kilometers long.

The Posádkové muzeum Sedlec, Vícenice is located within the grounds of the 22nd Helicopter Base at Náměšť nad Oslavou Airport. The exhibitions at Posádkové muzeum Sedlec, Vícenice can be visited by prior arrangement as part of organized excursions or during open-door events.

The Chapel of St. Anne, dating from 1889, stands in the village square of Sedlec.
