Culture and History
Litovany was first mentioned in historical sources in 1353. The Chapel of St. Pius X in Litovany was built in the 1960s and consecrated in 1970. After Jan Zelený of Říčany incorporated Litovany into Krhov in 1555, the local fortress gradually fell into disrepair.
