Oponešice: Hotels and accommodations
The fortress of Oponešice was first mentioned in written records in the second half of the 14th century. After 1542, the originally Gothic fortress lost its residential function; renovations to convert it into an agricultural building then began. In the local land-use plan, it is designated as an immovable cultural monument.

Culture and history
The Chapel of St. John and Paul was built in 1774 and acquired its present appearance through renovations in 1884. It is one of the monuments in Oponešice.
A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands among lime trees in the village square of Oponešice. It dates from 1716 and formerly stood by the dam of a pond. In Oponešice, it is designated as an immovable cultural monument under registration number 33025/7-2951.
Nature and landscape
Pekařův dub is an English oak. It was first placed under protection on August 11, 2010, and is designated as a memorial tree in the Oponešice land-use plan.
From Oponešice, access to Pekařův dub follows a field path past the Remízek pond toward the forest and a waterworks building.
The Oponešice land-use plan also designates a significant viewpoint called Vyhlídka.
